About Vanessa

I am a Master of Social Work student at the University of Windsor, currently completing my social work practicum under the supervision of Amanda Rocheleau. As part of my practicum, I am offering free therapy services to clients, supporting them in navigating various life challenges. My areas of focus include working with youth and young adults (ages 15-30) experiencing depression, anxiety, burnout, low self-esteem, and relationship issues. I also provide support for individuals with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) who may be struggling with time management, emotion regulation, task management, self-compassion, and so on. Additionally, I help clients cope with life transitions and work or school-related stress.

I utilize a person-centred and empathetic approach to therapy, ensuring that each client feels heard, respected, and supported in their unique journey. I am passionate about creating a safe and collaborative space where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions, develop effective coping strategies, and work towards their personal goals. I am committed to helping clients build resilience, improve their well-being, and foster meaningful change in their lives.
